CURRENT MANDATES STATE THAT ATTENDEES WILL BE REQUIRED TO USE A MASK INDOORS.
There aren't any plans to have a hybrid option or move the event to virtual at this time.
During the 2022 California Foster Youth Education Summit, we would like to acknowledge the hard and successful work that has been happening in our state to support the educational paths of our students in foster care during these past couple of years. We will discuss great programs that worked before the COVID outbreak, and discuss how people are adapting now. Let’s continue to build on our successes and move forward to create a brighter future for our students together!
Learning Sessions - 36 Unique and Educational Workshops
The 2022 California Foster Youth Education Summit provides a unique opportunity to learn from both professionals and those with lived experience: our students who are or have been in foster care. We continue our tradition of bringing you new and emerging trends in foster care education, best practices and opportunities to add to your tool kit!
COVID -19 Safety Precautions
We understand the current situation with the pandemic continues to cast uncertainty for in person events. We will be carefully monitoring guidance and will ensure that the event is in compliance with any federal, state and local guidelines. Current CFPH guidelines for indoor mega events can be found here.
Safety for all participants is of our utmost concern and therefore, for all attendees we are requiring proof of vaccination or provide negative COVID-19 test results within one day for an antigen test and within two days for a PCR test. You will be required to provide that information during the conference registration process. We will also be checking vaccine cards or test result documents with IDs during on-site conference check-in.
We will be honoring any California state's requirements/mandates on mask usage at the time of the event. If masks are still required for all attendees at indoor events, we will be implementing that requirement at our event. As we proceed, it may be decided that procedures can be loosened or others need to be put in place. We will provide information on any updates if/when that happens.
We appreciate you working with us to help provide as safe of an environment as we can to you and all of our attendees.
